Sketchbook Assignments

At the beginning of each class the first 15 minutes will be dedicated to working in your sketchbook. You will have 2 weeks to complete your sketchbook assignment and the following Monday a new prompt will be assigned. On this page you will find all directions for completing your sketchbook assignments as well as a syllabus of prompt with turn in dates.

Sketchbook MUST's:

1. Date the pages as you work on them.
2. Complete 4 pages for each prompt. (This means each week you should complete 2 pages)
3. You need to write down notes and any research you found on the sketchbook pages along with the images you draw. Make sure I can read your handwriting.
4. Try to make connections to things you learn in other classes.
5. Reflect on the quality of the materials you used or write reflections about the artwork/research you found.
6. Make notes about at least 2 artists you found or learned about. Include the artists name, medium & where you found the research.
