Define the following:
Foreground- the part of a view that is nearest to the observer, especially in a picture or photograph.
Mid-ground/Middle Ground- the area between the foreground and the background. This is often where the main action takes place. Objects in this area look smaller than, and are often placed partially behind, foreground objects.
Background- The part of a pictorial representation that
appears to be in the distance and that provides relief for the principal objects in the foreground.
